CME Credits

European Accreditation

We are pleased to inform you that the EAACI will offer 17 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits for the Meeting. The aim of a CME system is to assure a high level of theoretic and clinical competences throughout the working life of medical specialists. The EAACI CME Accreditation Committee guarantees that the CME programmes are of a high scientific and educational standard in agreement with the European and American CME systems.

There is currently no harmonised CME system in Europe. The EAACI CME Accreditation Committee has applied to the European Accreditation Council for CME (EACCME) for the recognition of European CME credits. EACCME Credits will be available to US Doctors attending the Meeting, due to a reciprocal agreement signed by the American Medical Association (AMA) and the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Each medical specialist should claim the recognition of the EAACI/EACCME Credits to his/her own CME National Authority.

More information and instructions on how to apply for CME credits will be included in the Meeting bag.

AMA recognised CME credits

Credits will be available to US Doctors attending all EAACI events, due to a reciprocal agreement of mutual recognition of continuing medical education (CME) credit signed by the American Medical Association (AMA) and the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).
